“Clear the Cache” hits the big screen Thursday!

Clear-the-Cache-still4It’s June and we all know what that means. School is out, the Stanley Cup playoffs are in full swing, summer blockbusters are hitting theaters, and the 48 Hour Film Project is back in the Granite State! Last weekend, 26 filmmaking teams took up the challenge to write, shoot, edit and complete a short film in just 48 hours. And, as as has been the case since the festival debuted in New Hampshire in 2009, Pilotgroove Pictures was one of them.

Thursday night’s 9:00 PM screening will lead off with the premiere of  Clear the Cache – the 6th 48 hour film from Pilotgroove Pictures. Clear the Cache is a tale of mistaken identity starring Dan Larson (Just Remember That They’re Dead) as Charlie Price, an indentured bag man who calls on a mob fixer to get him out of trouble and gets a whole different kind of help. Written and directed by Ben Peirce and P.J. Huot, the film is a fast-paced caper with laughs, surprises and a MOUNTAIN of drugs. Huot also stars, along with newcomers Kathy Sullivan and Jacqueline Dubois.

Don’t miss your chance to see Clear the Cache (and 12 other 48 hour films) at the NH 48 Hour Film Project (Block B) screening – Thursday June 13 at 9pm at Cinemagic in Hooksett, NH. A separate batch of 13 films will play at 6:30. Tickets are available online or for $10 (cash only) at the door.
